Can I bring my dog inside a restaurant in the US?
Under FDA food-code rules, dogs that are not service animals generally cannot be inside areas where food is prepared or served. Some states (Florida, California, Maryland and others) explicitly permit dogs on outdoor patios when the restaurant opts in. Service dogs are allowed indoors nationwide under the ADA.
Do dog-friendly restaurants allow dogs at the table?
